Dear Prospective Student,
Let me introduce you to Costa del Sol Bible Institute!Fall Term 2009begins Monday, October 5! Have you always wanted to study the Bible, but not had the opportunity? Now you may begin your study part-time at Costa del Sol Bible Institute.You will never be the same as you make this all important life changing decision to study the promises of God!
It is necessary to have guidelines for a school setting, so please read the facts below.If you have any questions, please ask for clarification.Rev. Joyce McNaughton,Missionary Evangelist History and Association In September 2004, while I was teaching at a Bible School in the Philippines, the Lord impressed upon me about starting a Bible School in Spain. In August, 2009, after 4 years of Bible teaching and evangelism on the Coast, I affiliated with International Victory Bible Institute (IVBI) from Tulsa, Oklahoma, which has 850 associated schools around the world , having 75 in Europe.
Purpose and Vision and Goals Costa del Sol Bible Institute is a school of instruction and training to equip Christian believers with the truths and lifestyle characteristics associated with the Bible and Christian living.It is a School which serves anyone of interest in the international Christian community and offers Bible instruction of the Christ-centered beliefs and lifestyle to those of non Christian beliefs.Costa del Sol Bible Institute will give Christians a foundation of the Word of God and prepare, teach and train those who show interest in doing the work of the ministry and/or with others who are called to the full-time ministry. Attendance and Tardiness Regular attendance is important for understanding of the material taught in each Course.With 12 hours of instruction, 3 hours each week for 4 weeks, all 12 hours of class time must be attended for credit to be given.A student may continue with class instruction having had absences, but no credit will be given.Two (2) episodes of lateness of more than fifteen (15) minutes from start time will be considered one (1) absence.
All Classes begin ON TIME as stated and all students are expected to be in their seats at that time.Each student knows their own travel requirements, whether on foot, traveling by bus, train or car, so adjustments should be made accordingly to be on time.
There are exceptions to this policy due to unexpected emergencies and if this should occur, a meeting will occur with the Director to discuss the possible special credit approval for that Course. Tests, Certificate of Completion and Certificate of Graduation Tests, both oral and written, will be given for every Course.The purpose of tests is for the teacher to know if he/she is covering the material properly and for the student to know if he/she understands the material being taught. A paper certificate will be awarded upon the completion of a Course.A completion means the student complied with the Course requirements in both attendance and with taking all tests (both oral and written). Any student that completes the full twenty-two (22) Courses of instruction will receive a Graduation diploma with a celebrated event.
