It was March of 2005 when I took the initial scout trip to Spain with 4 other ministers.It was on that trip that I saw ahead a day when an outreach would begin to girls who work selling their own bodies to others.It was not until the 6th mission in January through March, 2007, that this outreach opportunity came to pass.
In the region of Spain where I minister there is a weekly English newspaper for all kinds of classified advertising.One section is called “Adult Relaxation.”From that newspaper, I made a list of 15 English-speaking girls.In telephoning I said, “I am not calling for your services, but I would like to take you out for coffee.I have something every important to tell you.”So, after three appointments were set, I went forward.
From that small beginning, I met with six persons total on four different occasions.God’s love for them was shared through various Bible passages.They invited me to see them again.They had opened their hearts to me.
The Bible says, in part, in Jude 1:21: “Guard and keep yourselves in the love of God” (Amplified); or from the Message Version, “Stay . . . right at the center of God's love.” And, in Jude 1:23, it says, “Go after those who take the wrong way. Be tender with sinners, but not soft on sin. The sin itself stinks to high heaven” (Message); and from the Amplified “[Strive to] save others, snatching [them] out of [the] fire; on others take pity [but] with fear, loathing even the garment spotted by the flesh and polluted by their sensuality.”
My part is to stay in God’s love, go and tell them the Gospel. God’s part is to bring them into His loving-kindness. Your part can help me go and snatch them out! Your partnership is most valuable!
It is a yacht like this that I pray to teach many Bible lessons to the visitors and owners.
